| The best place to find all sorts of information for Pensacola and Pensacola Beach including a calendar of events is the Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Information Center web site. It is good to check the events calendar for a list of all activities on the island. There are many Things to do on Pensacola Beach that may be of interest during your stay. In addition to this, some of our favorite places to visit and things to do are: If you are here during a Blue Angels performance or practice, PLEASE be sure to take time to see them. It is absolutely amazing! The National Naval Aviation Museum is located in the southwest part of Pensacola. If you are a pilot, you will love it! If you are interested in history, you will love it! I could go each time we are here (I'm a pilot, but you'll still love it). Many of the restaurants we have listed in the Food section of our site have live music. Visit their web sites! The Board Walk on the Beach has several spots for night life. There is a list of businesses here. You are within walking distance! One of our favorite places to visit is the piano bar in the Seville Quarter in Pensacola. There is a great variety of entertainment here for whatever mood you are in! Fort Pickens is a lovely drive to the west and Navarre Beach is a beautiful drive to the east. Both roads were closed following Dennis, but the roads to Navarre Beach and Fort Pickens are now open. Find your own piece of the beach in either direction and if you are in the mood, you can bike on either road! There is good information on Pensacola Beach activities on the Beach Pier web site. A list of water activities in the Pensacola area can be found here. Theatre is alive and well in Pensacola with the Pensacola Little Theatre and the Saenger Theatre. Both these theatres offer a good variety of entertainment. |
