| Our favorite place to buy groceries is at Publix in Gulf Breeze, just across the bridge from Pensacola Beach. It is well maintained, clean, and offers a very good general selection including liquor and wine. There is also a very nice (and growing) selection of natural and organic foods. You will also want to visit Joe Patti's for fresh sea food, where the catch of the day is just that, if you are in the mood to prepare something fresh at home and enjoy it in the dining area or on the balcony. There is also a convenience store located beside Emerald Isle. |
| You must visit the Fish House and Atlas (they are together). It is our (and many other people's) absolute favorite place to eat... Great Menus, Wonderful Fresh Sea Food and Live Music! McGuire's Irish Pub is also a must visit (over $550,000 dollar bills stapled to the ceiling and walls). McGuire's has a complete menu with a good selection, good food for lunch and dinner and a nice selection of micro brews. Jackson's Steak House is a wonderful up-scale restaurant in downtown Pensacola for a special night out. Hemingway's Island Grill is our favorite place on the beach; mostly because we really enjoy the roof-top bar for a late afternoon or early evening drink and appetizer. Peg Leg Pete's on the beach is very popular. There is a good selection on the menu and a fun atmosphere. The Grand Marlin is the newest of the restaurants listed here and a very nice addition to our list. We have been there only a few times, but think you will add it to your list of places to dine out. We have restaurant ***GIFT CERTIFICATES*** for you for a one week stay. |
